| Looking Down at Waikiki from Diamond Head Crater | |
| I had my friend Chuong Nguyen take this picture of me with my arms outstretched over south shore Oahu. We were at the top of the famous Diamond Head Crater. The crater was used during World War II as a lookout point to watch for enemy air attacks. The concrete bunkers that are scattered on the seaward side of the crater are still accessible by visitors. The top of Diamond Head affords some of the most amazing views anywhere in the Hawaiian Islands. Nikon N65 35mm Film Camera, 28-80mm Zoom Lens |
