Hawaiian Chili Peppers
These small (one inch) chili peppers are a popular variety used in various local food preparations. The Hawaiian pepper's small size is quite deceiving, it packs a powerful punch and is considerably hot. Just a few will make a very spicy batch of salsa for a whole party.

I particularly liked this shot because there is only one ripe, red pepper surrounded by a sea of yellow ones. To me, it conveys a sense of personal pride and individuality.
